Which exam is right for me?

FCE (First Certificate in English)*

FCE is aimed at candidates who can use everyday written and spoken English at an upper-intermediate level. It is an ideal exam for people who want to use English for work or study purposes.

CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) *

CAE is an exam for advanced users of English aimed at candidates who can use written and spoken English for most professional and social purposes. It is widely recognised for work or study purposes.

CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) *

CPE is the most advanced exam. It is aimed at candidates who can use English for professional or study purposes.

BEC (Business English Certificates)*

Business English Certificates (BEC) are internationally recognised qualifications that show employers the skills candidates hold when using English at work. There are three evels of BEC, reflecting reading, writing, listening and speaking abilities needed for business.

Cambridge ILEC (International Legal English Certificate)*

For lawyers working with international matters, English is an essential tool. It is the common language of the legal profession, business and international affairs. ILEC is designed to assess English language competence in a legal context.

Cambridge ICFE (International Certificate in Financial English)*

ICFE covers English language skills and the ability to converse in an accounting and finance context. Developed in collaboration with ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) ICFE helps finance professionals demonstrate they have the financial English skills required.
